Commercial Boat Insurance
We provide cover for all types commercial craft and workboats including liability for the vessel and crew.
If you are using your boat for use other than recreational and to earn revenue then standard boat insurance won’t be adequate. The boat needs t be insured under a commercial boat insurance policy which will have the necessary cover written into the policy wording and terms.
Commercial Boat insurance cover can be used for:
- Vessels let out on Charter
- Passenger Boats
- Tug Boats
- Fishing Boats
- Commercial netting and potting
- Sightseeing boats
- Water Taxis
- Commercial Workboats
If the boat is used to carry passengers or for sightseeing we can usually cover you for up to twelve passengers including crew and cover can be extended for crew liability or in certain circumstances employer’s liability where this is a requirement.
We can cover your commercial boat if you are cruising within the Inland waterways of the UK, UK coastal waters including Brest To Elbe or any licensed category authorised by the MCA.
