Although there is no requirement by law for a Jet Ski owner to have insurance, it is  advised that you have your own policy if you own your own JetSki.  Accidents involving Jet Skis, PWCs, the general public and other vessels are numerous and you could be held liable.

Jet Ski insurance will cover you for your liability to others and for the craft itself.  It will also cover you for carrying passengers whether on board or towed behind.  If this is required it should be requested as an optional extra.

You would normally be covered for transit risks whilst transporting the Jetski and this would include your third party liability to others whilst the Jetski is in transit.  If you are using the Jetski on holiday then you must check that you have the correct geographical cover in place.
